Dermabond Topical Skin Adhesive
Dermabond Topical Skin Adhesive is a 2-Octyl Cyanoacrylate consisting of a combination of monomer and plasticisers which together produce a strong, pliable, tissue-compatible end product that will flex with the skin and remain adherent for long periods of time.
Dermabond is intended for topical application to hold together easily approximated skin edges of wounds. The polymerisation process starts before application thus providing almost instant results. It should not be used over areas of excessive tension such as joints, on muco-cutaneous junctions or internally.
